The new, slim, and light notebook weighs in around 2 pounds and costs about $300.

About 2 months ago I purchased the HP Mini 110 XP laptop from HP and was totally shocked at the level of help that I received. I was traveling on business and was going to be home for about three days before I had to head out again on another trip. I called HP to order this notebook and was extremely happy with the level of assistance they provided me while resolving some issues with my HP Credit. I didn’t pay the extra amount for the express shipping as I feel that it is a waste. In fact, it was. About 2 days later I received the notebook at my door.

Now, on to the features of HP Mini 110 XP Notebook. This is the smallest and lightest weight computer I have ever seen as it weighs in around 2 pounds.

The HP Mini 110 Notebook has a built in wireless card that provides excellent wireless internet. The notebook also has a built in web cam that allows you to chat with friends across the city or around the world.

The best part about this notebook is that it comes loaded with Windows XP instead of Windows Vista. This is a nice change as almost every notebook is now sold with Vista as an operating system.

You can purchase this laptop from
HP.com for $329.99.

Have you ever received a suspicious e-mail from eBay requesting your username and password? If you have then the chances are that you are a prey for a scam. Scammers send out bulk fake e-mails that claim to be from eBay and may even look like they were sent from an official ebay email address or the page it sends you to looks just like ebay.

If you click the link the e-mail from the “supposed” ebay e-mail that takes you to the page to reset or resubmit your account details you will see a page that looks a lot like eBay. If you proceed to type in your information and hit submit, all of your personal details have just been emailed to the scammer and your personal data is now compromised.

eBay and xBids DO NOT send out unsolicited e-mails and would like to alert users to that fact.

Be safe and dont open or read spam emails!

Have you ever received or been offered a money order from someone on eBay or CraigsList? If you are an active buyer or seller on either website I am sure you have had one offered to you. You must be very careful when dealing with anyone who offers you a money order. Let me tell you a personal story of how I almost got scammed on eBay.

I received a Fake Money Order on eBay:
I used the Sidekick II cellphone for about 2 years and no longer had a need for it. I decided to sell the item on eBay since I figured I could get more for it there than on Craigslist. I listed the item and even included the fact that the top left button was broken. I guess that the item would sell for $60-80 since it worked and only needed a slight repair on the one button. The auction was only a few hours out from ending and it was at $65.00, which made me pretty happy. When I later checked up on the item (after it finished) it had sold for $310.00. I was shocked that it had sold for so much and found it a bit fishy. The buyer e-mailed me and said she needed the item urgently and since she paid so much would like overnight shipping. I was well aware of the scams regarding money orders so I played my cards very safely. About 2 days after the auction had finished I received the money order in the mail. I was told that I had to ship the item as soon as the money order was received, but I decided to wait and do my own investigating. The money order looked pretty real and was probably one of the best Fake US Postal Service Money Orders I had ever seen. I never took the item to the bank to cash and decided to keep the scammer waiting. I got the buyers phone number and decided to call her. When I called (Louisiana number) a woman answered and I asked to speak with the buyer. The woman who answered had no idea who I was calling for and said she didn’t know anyone by that name. A few days after my phone calls I checked the feedback rating on the buyer and it was at (-4). The complaints posted by sellers were in regards to having received a fake money order and been scammed out of their money and item. I was pretty happy to have stayed away from falling prey to a money order scam.

I hope you enjoyed the story and learned a little something about how to avoid getting scammed with money orders. Another method these scammers use is this:
- Item that normally sells for $500 ends up selling for $700
- Buyer offers to pay you $2,500 and you need to Western Union them the difference ($1,800).
- You receive a fake check/money order and deposit it to you bank.
- Then you send them their money via Western Union and the item via Airmail (UPS/FedEx).
- A few days later you receive a call from your bank saying the check/money order was fake and you now owe the bank $2,500.

You must be very careful when buying or selling items on eBay or CraigsList. I know my article specifically mentions eBay, but CraigsList is equally as guilty. In recent months, eBay has been cracking down on payment methods allowed by buyers/sellers and has pretty much banned money orders. This scam can still be seen on CraigsList and other classifieds websites online. In conclusion, use your head and practice safe buying/selling and you will be fine.

Don’t forget to sell your items on xBids.com and receive a $10.00 signup bonus!

What does FEE FREE really mean? The answer is simple. FEE FREE means ansolutley no fees what-so-ever. No fees to list your item, no fees when your item sells, and even no fees if your item doesn’t sell. xBids.com is a totally free auction website that allows you to list your items for free and you don’t pay a dime when it sells. Lets find out how xBids.com stacks up against internet auction giant eBay.

eBay Fees:
General Item Insert Fee:
eBay says items that start at $0.01-0.99 are subject to a fee of $0.10 and upwards until your item begins at $500.00+ where your item is charged $4.00 to list.
(Remember that xBids.com has NO Insert Fee!)

Final Value Fee:
eBay says items that sell between $0.01-25.00 are subject to a fee of 8.75% of the total sale price. Items that sell between $25.01-$1,000 are subject to a fee of 8.75% of the initial $25.00 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the remaining closing value balance. Items that sell between $1,000.01+ are subject to a fee of 8.75% of the initial $25.00 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the initial $25.01 - $1,000.00 ($34.12), plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance($1000.01 - closing value).
(Remember that xBids.com has NO Final Value Fee!)

In light of all of this new information, you should take a look and compare the eBay fees and xBids fees.
- eBay Fees

The Christmas Season is finally over and everyone is enjoying their gifts they received this season. While 2008 was a strange shopping year, consumer websites such as Amazon.com reported record numbers and great profit for the fourth quarter. One of the top gifts received this 2008 christmas was the Apple iPhone. Now that you have the best cell phone in the world, its time to buy some accessories.

There are more accessories being sold for the iPhone than any other electronic item in stores. The most important item to consider purchasing is an iPhone Case. While you may think that a case will cause the already rather large iPhone to be bigger than necessary. That is untrue. There are many iPhone cases such as the Griffin FlexGrip for the iPhone 3g. This case is made of a neat material that doesn’t cause the item to be thicker than normal and protects it in many scenarios. Click here to check out the GRIFFIN FLEXGRIP IPHONE 3G.

Another important accessory to have for the new iPhone 3g is a Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone. The speakerphone that I recommend is the Motorola MOTOROKR T505 which can be found by clicking here. The MOTOROLA MOTOROKR T505 is unique because you can now drive hands free and talk at the same time. The wireless signal comes directly from the iPhone 3g and to the speakerphone. This item is top of the line and is made by a well known Bluetooth provider.

There are a lot of other really great CHEAP APPLE IPHONE ACCESSORIES that can be found online at places such as Buy.com. Also, if you click on one of our links you will receive FREE SHIPPING AT BUY.COM. Thanks to everyone and I hope you had a great Holiday!

Fake Online Escrow Websites are appearing by the dozens every day. These websites do not provide any real means of security and are just a front to steal money from honest individuals that think they are buying a legitimate item. Most of these FAKE ESCROW WEBSITES are run out of Eastern Europe and the former Russian States.

What is a Reliable Escrow Website I Can Use?
The only real solution that we can give is Escrow.com. This website is a large company and has an English speaking support staff you can speak with almost 24 hours a day. I have used Escrow.com many times and will continue to use them in the future. The only down side to their services are the high fees, but I would rather pay $150 in fees than to lose $10,000 to a scammer. Check out Escrow.com at http://www.Escrow.com

What Are Some Known Fradulent Escrow Websites?
Here is a short list of known fake escrow websites. I welcome anyone to contact me or post other additional fake sites here as well:

Please be careful and do not use any of the above listed Fake Escrow Websites! If anyone asks you to pay using one of these sites, ignore their messages and move on to another buyer.

What Type of Sale Requires Escrow Transactions?
Any online sale can be processed using Escrow, but typically it is for high value items (i.e. Domain Names, Automobiles, Boats, Planes, Businesses, Jewlery, etc…). A very well known scam running in Europe is in regards to high end automobiles like BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, and more. These scammers present their “car” for sale and offer it at a rediculously low offer you can’t pass up. They will then direct you to pay using their “known escrow service” and explain how you will be protected. Typically with large escrow transactions you must use a Bank to Bank wire transfer or pay using some method that doens’t protect you in case of fraud. Once you send the money to the “sellers escrow website” they take the money and you never hear back from them again. This is a well known scam that has been going on for years. Make sure to do your homework on the seller and the escrow company as well!

Don’t get scammed! Research Research Research!
